2024 LASE Insight Series Workshop
August 8, 2024
Navigating Math Trends: Integrating Effective and Engaging Instruction
This year’s topic has been carefully selected based on the evolving trends in math education across the nation. The 2022 “National Report Card” (NAEP) revealed the largest decline in math scores since 1990, highlighting the pressing need for proactive measures. The workshop will kick off with an enlightening keynote presentation by Dr. Joe Sencibaugh from Webster University.
Following the keynote, participants may select from three leveled breakout sessions tailored for specific age groups. These sessions will be hands on and engaging, providing attendees with a wealth of practical ideas that can be readily integrated into their daily math instruction.
Designed for teachers of pre-K through high school with leveled breakout sessions to follow the keynote presentation.
